Dr. Melissa Przeklasa Auth met her husband, Dr. Jonathan Auth, while attending the Keck School of Medicine at USC. They both completed their medical residencies at UCLA and now reside in Orange County with their children.
Dr. Melissa Przeklasa Auth was born and raised in Laguna Niguel, California. A proud graduate and Valedictorian of Aliso Niguel High School, she went on to attend the University of California, San Diego, where she earned two Bachelor of Science degrees—one in Biology and the other in Psychology—through Revelle College.
Dr. Przeklasa Auth received her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), followed by additional subspecialty training in both General Neurology and Pediatric Neurology, also at UCLA.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is board-eligible in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine through the American Board of Pediatrics. Her clinical training included extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Childhood Epilepsy, Headache Syndromes, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Developmental Delays including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Dr. Przeklasa Auth currently serves on the medical staff at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) at Mission Hospital.
